Niccolò Paganini
Moto perpetuo in do maggiore op.11 (MS 72)
The cover of the autographed part of the guitar bears the words "Genova li 6 aprile 1835". The part was purchased by the Trentin violinist Marco Anzoletti in the early twentieth century from antiquarian Buttafava in Milan. The part had bought it in 1901 by Andrea Paganini, nephew of Niccolò. At the death of Anzoletti (1929), the Paganini collection he owned went to the Trento Philharmonic Society, which in 1941 gave it to the Municipal Library of Trento, where it is kept. The violin part is instead kept in the New York Public Library.
