Franco Margola, a Brescian composer, was one of the most significant authors of the twentieth century Italian. After his violin studies with Romano Romanini, he graduated at the Conservatory of Parma in composition under the guidance of Achille Longo. Still a student, he met Alfredo Casella: from this knowledge his international career took off. After his death in Nave on March 9, 1992, a large part of his unpublished production was placed in the family studio. The catalog of the works, drawn up by Ottavio de Carli, includes 814 opera numbers. For the DaVinci editions, four volumes are edited, containing some of the best compositions left unpublished, selected from dozens of manuscripts.

1) Music with mandolin

2) Fantasia seconda for guitar and piano

3) Sonatas for 2 guitars

4) Music for violin and guitar
